From Woodbury, Connecticut Probate Records, Vol I: 11 May 1725; Administration was granted on estate of Mr. Nathaniel Smith, late of Litchfield, deceased, to Mrs. Ann Smith, his widow, and William Smith, his son. His children were William, Nathaniel, Abiel, Joshua, Stephen, Jacob, Jonathan, Ann, Elizabeth, Experience (married B. Horsford), Sarah, Mary, and Phebe.
