Resided at Off Center Street, Norwell, MA.
Arrived at the Port of Boston, MA, 27 Sep 1922, on the SS Pittsburg.
His surname is sometimes spelled "Stodder."
A Farmer and the fifth of ten children, Gersham was evidently a man of large business affairs. In the Register's office at Plymouth many real estate deeds are recorded in which he is named as one of the parties. He was also engaged in maritime business, as appears by the record of a suit brought by him for fright charges to Boston. He was a purchaser of shares in the Cohassett tract of land in the northerly part of Scituate, where he lived at a place called Cold Spring, afterwards Deacon Merritt's place.
