Served on Committee for Safety, Town of Hanover, MA, 1775 and 1779. Resided on Main Street, just south of the house in which Joseph Dwelley resided. Also served as Selectman.

Drowned at Columbia Falls, Maine, at age 27, unmarried.
Probably at Sedgwick, Maine in 1810; and at Jackson, Maine in 1820. May have married and had children.
He lived near Third Herring brook, South Scituate, Mass.
